Welcome to the Westchester County
Community Help Desk

The Community Help Desk (CHD) is a new way for the community to interact with County Government. This prototype demonstrates some of the ways in which the CHD can use the Internet to provide you with expert assistance and government services. The CHD currently contains help for people concerned about:


Youth At Risk (en español) – Are you a parent (guardian, caregiver) concerned that your child:

  • May hurt himself or herself?
  • May hurt others?
  • May be harassed or hurt by others?
The Youth At Risk Help Desk can help you understand whether and where to seek professional assistance. (en español)

Seniors At Risk (en español) – Do you know a Senior Citizen who seems to be experiencing:
  • Deteriorating health?
  • Frequent injuries?
  • Isolation?
  • Anxiety or confusion?
  • Difficulty taking care of his or her home?
The Seniors At Risk Help Desk can help you find professional assistance. (en español)


The CHD is no substitute for professional intervention when such involvement is warranted. If you know that the senior or young person you are concerned about is in serious trouble, refer to the list of emergency phone numbers provided on this site.
